Can you measure hardness of plated layer at 10 gms load? The Actual hardness is in range of 110 to 160.
Thanks

You will have to use a Knoop indenter in order to obtain a measurable diagonal
Diagonal for 110 hardness at 10 g would be around 35 microns. This is measurable automatically by our CMT software but sample must be perfectly clean and free from scratches and artifacts. Indent can also be measured in semi auto mode with cursors, in which case a less perfect finish is allowed.
