Vision Lite is generally recommended for users whose applications are covered by one of our Application Packages. We also suggest that those who only have a limited amount of time to spend on developing their own imaging routines purchase Vision Lite together with an application package, which they will be able to modify to suit their needs. We recommend Vision PE to users whose applications are more complex and who are willing invest time into developing their own custom solutions.
