I am looking for a fairly basic image acquisition and analysis program for use with optical microscopy. What is Captiva capable of for my application?

Alert
Captiva captures images, stores, allow one to make annotations in non destructive layers, make direct measurements also in non destructive layers, etc.
It is a microscopy image capture software. There are possibilities to calibrate each magnification, set shading correction and have calibrated markers on each image if desired.
Captiva can make mosaics (image stitching) and multi-layer acquisition (multiple focal planes)
The software also prints directly without copy and paste to another software.
